Otogi Story Tenshi no Shippo berpusat pada Goro yang sedang ketimpa musibah, dia kehilangan pekerjaan dan hanya memiliki sedikit uang. Suatu hari dia bertemu dengan peramal di luar toko hewan peliharaan yang meramalkan bahwa nasibnya akan berubah. Malam itu tiga gadis muncul di apartemennya mengaku sebagai pelindungnya. Segera muncul secara tiba-tiba 12 gadis untuk membantunya, masing-masing merupakan reinkarnasi dari hewan peliharaan yang telah meninggal yang pernah dimiliki oleh Goro. Dan ini lah kisah baru Goro dengan para gadis-gadis.
